– Chairman of the Dutch Structural Timber Code committee since 1990.<\/p>\n

– Dutch representative in Cost-action E8 and E24 (reliability of timber structures) of the European Community. Member of CIB\/W18, RILEM-MTE ,<\/p>\n

– Head of Dutch delegation in European standardization CEN\/TC124 \u2013 Timber Structures.<\/p>\n

– Selected as one of the five code writer of Eurocode 5 \u2013 Design of Timber Structures.<\/p>\n
